Fishing Report

July 28, 2010:

Bass: Smallmouth ave been a little scattered with tis heat. However when you do find them theyare schooled up so when you hook one look for followers so your fishing partner can double up.

Pike: We've been catching a few but they are basically hammer handles.

Carp: NA

Musky: WOW! Lots of big fish. Just having trouble getting them into the boat. Went 0 for 2 the other day after having seen 8! Their sizes ranged form 48" up to mid 50's! Had 1 almost take a hand off of my client as bent over to grab his hooked smallmouth. Saw 2 today but no followers.

Drum: Been seeing quite a few up on the but don't rule out the deeper areas.

Walleye: Catching a few in our deeper spots for smallmouths.

White Bass: NA

BUGS: NA

Water Condition: Extremely clear. As my clients would say... It looks like the Carribean!!!

Good Fishing!

Please check our calendar page for further seminar dates and locations throughout the midwest on warmwater related fly fishing and light tackle subjects. We thank everyone for their support this past year and we look forward to sharing times on the water again this season.
